Disability Classes

Innerbloom encourages each person to reach their own potential through specialised classes. Every person is accepted for where they are at, and what they can or cant do. We tailor classes to meet the individual, while setting them challenging, yet attainable goals so they can firsthand see what they are capable of. Innerbloom believes in every persons potential.

Sensory Yoga 
Specifically developed with the needs of individuals living with intellectual disabilities and sensory issues in mind.

In this class, we will explore yoga poses and sequences designed to stimulate and regulate the sensory system. We use targeted yoga therapy exercises specifically for ADHD and ASD.

We may use props, such as weighted blankets, bolsters, and sensory toys, to create a calming and comfortable environment for our practice. Our class is suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with autism, ADHD, and other sensory-related conditions. 

Chair yoga 
This class is designed to suit individuals with various levels of mobility and range, including those who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids. We weave in the calming benefits of breathing, meditation, and mindfulness practices to make it a well-rounded experience.

    Family Yoga / Carers Yoga

    Innerbloom offers opportunities for families and caregivers to engage in mindful connections with their children, free from the disruptions from the outside world.

    These classes are a holistic practice designed to bring people together and promote well being for all involved. Our sessions arent about the poses, they are about the connection that happens when the caregiver guides their loved ones through movements, breathing exercises, partner poses, mindful games and relaxation. Throughout the classes you will be nurturing the body and bond with your loved one.

    Privates

    Looking for a more personailed approach to health and wellbeing? 

    Innerbloom offers private 1;1 classes for children of all ages, people living with a disability of all ages as well as private classes for families, carers or groups. 

    This can be offered in the convenience of your home, a park, or with prior arrangement, a studio. 

    A private session offers the flexibility to choose a day and time that aligns perfectly with your schedule. We will try our best to align our availability with your preference.  

    Supporting those who Support

    Innerbloom understands and recognises that people who support, also need support. These classes can be delivered to staff, parents and carers. Throughout the class we specifically focus on meridian based movements that are targeted towards stress and anxiety, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. 

    Classes also involve mindfulness, breathing exercises, meditation and self care practices.  

    Kids Classes

    Innerbloom understands that the first years of a child’s life are the most important to their development. Its the ideal time to lay a foundation of self belief that sets them on a path of success. Our classes are aimed to help children build confidence, positive self image, resilience and flexible thinking. 

    With a playful and encouraging atmosphere, children will discover age appropriate yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. 

    We’ll explore different themes each week, such as nature, animals, and emotions, and incorporate storytelling, games, and music into our practice making it a class that the children wont forget.

    Workshops

    Innerbloom offers a variety of workshops throughout the year focused on building confidence, developing essential life skills, and promoting holistic wellness. We can offer themed workshops and can happily tailor workshops to suit the individual needs of the participants. 

    Schools & ECH Programs

    Seeking calm, focused children in your classrooms?

    Innerbloom offers age appropriate programs tailored towards Early Childcare Centres, Schools, OOSH centres aligning with the EYLF and promoting positive health and wellbeing. 

    For the younger ones, our classes consist of; 

    • Imaginative age appropriate yoga poses 
    • Fun and engaging breathing exercises
    • Mindful interacting games
    • Relaxation techniques
    • Build and learn coping skills 

    For the older ones, our term-based programs consist of;

    • Personal growth mindset techniques which encourages possibility thinking 
    • Enhance focus which leads to improved learning 
    • Mitigate behavioral challenges as children learn develop emotional regulation skills 
    • Expand self-awareness, and be equipped with tools to conquer emotions through body awareness and emotional identification
    • Increases social connection through group activities
    • Foster creative thinking 

    Sessions are run weekly and booked on a term basis. The duration of the classes are based on age groups.
